Hilary Duff Pregnant

After announcing that she and hubby Mike Comrie, 30, are expecting their first child, Hilary Duff is ready to share the details with her fans -- including her most recent stick-to-your-bones snack craving! "Now I can finally talk about my cravings! Today it was rice crispy treats! Trying really hard to give them ALL away!!!" Duff, 23, tweeted on August 15, along with a Twitpic showing a freshly made batch of the gooey marshmallow treats. Duff isn't the first celeb mommy-to-be to share her pregnancy food fancies. For Alyssa Milano, who is due in mid-September, it was a certain veggie. "Broccoli! I can't even consider that a craving because it's so odd. I can't get enough broccoli!" the 38-year-old star said in February.

On the more weird-and-wacky front, Kourtney Kardashian, 32, admitted that she had a hankering for some unique concoctions while pregnant with son Mason, 20 months. "My most intense craving was a waffle with butter and syrup. Weirdest maybe a relish and mayo sandwich, but only once thank god!" she Tweeted in October 2009. Duff announced her pregnancy news via her official website on August 14 -- an extra-sweet touch to her and Comrie's one-year anniversary. "I can't believe it has already been a year. Time really flies when you're having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that baby makes three! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!"

Madonna Biography and Photos

Date of Birth: 16 August 1958, Bay City, Michigan, USA
Birth Name: Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone
Nickname: Nonnie, Maddy, Mo, The Material Girl, Madge, Esther (Kabalah name picked up herself from "Zohar" or "Bible")
M (What she and her friends call her)
Height: 5' 4½" (1.64 m)

Mini Biography
The remarkable, hyper-ambitious Material Girl who never stops re-inventing herself, Madonna has sold over 300 million records and CDs to adoring fans worldwide. Her film career, however, is another story. Her performances have consistently drawn scathing or laughable reviews from film critics, and the films have usually had tepid, if any, success at the box office. Born Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone in August 1958 in Bay City, Michigan, she moved to New York in the late 1970s and studied with renowned choreographer Alvin Ailey, joined up with the Patrick Hernandez Revue, formed a pop/dance band called "Breakfast Club" and began working with then boyfriend Stephen Bray on recording several disco-oriented songs. New York producer / DJ Mark Kamins passed her demo tapes to Sire Records in early 1982 and the rest, as they say, is history. The 1980s was Madonna's boom decade, and she dominated the music charts with a succession of multi-million-selling albums, and her musical and fashion influence on young women was felt around the globe.

Madonna first appeared on screen in two low-budget films marketed to a teenage audience: A Certain Sacrifice (1980) and Vision Quest (1985). However, she scored a minor cult hit with Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) starring alongside spunky Rosanna Arquette. Madonna's next effort with then husband Sean Penn, Shanghai Surprise (1986), was savaged by critics, although the resilient star managed to somewhat improve her standing with her next two films, the offbeat Who's That Girl (1987) (although she did receive decidedly mixed reviews, they weren't as negative as those of her previous effort) and the quirky Damon Runyon-inspired Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989). The big-budget and star-filled Dick Tracy (1990) had her playing bad girl "Breathless Mahoney" flirting with Warren Beatty, but the epic failed to catch fire at the box office. Taking an earthier role, Madonna was much more entertaining alongside Tom Hanks and Geena Davis in the highly enjoyable A League of Their Own (1992), a story about female baseball players during WWII. However, she again drew the wrath of critics with the boring whodunit Body of Evidence (1993), an obvious (and lame) attempt to cash in on the success of the sexy Sharon Stone thriller Basic Instinct (1992).

Several other minor screen roles followed, then Madonna starred as Eva Perón in Evita (1996), a fairly well received screen adaptation of the hugely successful Broadway musical. The Material Girl stayed away from the movie cameras for several years, returning to co-star in the lukewarm romantic comedy The Next Best Thing (2000), followed by the painful Swept Away (2002). If those films weren't bad enough, she was woefully miscast as a vampish fencing instructor in the James Bond adventure Die Another Day (2002).

Kate Gosselin 2011

Kate Gosselin could only make it on her own for so long. The current season of Kate Plus 8, which premiered last week, will be its last, TLC announced Monday. "TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8," a network rep said in a statement. "By the end of this season Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8); an exceptional milestone. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future." 'We've had a great run!" Gosselin wrote in the first of a succession of many tweets. "Six years of whirlwind funfilled adventures thanks to TLC and our many many supportive & diehard fans! "While it is very sad for me and the kids (there were many tears at the breakfast table this morning!) we are looking forward with great anticipation to our bright future! As is very typical for me, I am choosing to see the positive in this situation and I am excited to consider the many more invigorating opportunities that may come my way!I poured my entire self in2 last 6 yrs of 'Kate+8'...I poured my entire self in2 the last6years of 'Kate Plus 8' & I can't wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavors!

It was Discovery Health that first introduced the world to the Gosselins in 2007 with the special Surviving Sextuplets and Twins before the network that once so proudly billed itself as The Learning Channel took over with Jon & Kate Plus 8 in 2008. Jon Gosselin, wife Kate and their big ole brood were a major hit for TLC, even more so once Jon became the subject of cheating rumors and they went through a very public separation and subsequent divorce. Once Pennsylvania's Department of Labor & Industry had granted the kids their proper pint-size permits, Kate continued to get her reality-TV groove on once Jon had been relegated to normal-person work, scoring family trips to New York City, Australia and Alaska, where they hung out with Sarah Palin.

Michael Caine Movies

Date of Birth: 14 March 1933, Rotherhithe, London, England, UK
Birth Name: Maurice Joseph Micklewhite
Height: 6' 2" (1.88 m)

Mini Biography
Born Maurice Micklewhite in London, Michael Caine was the son of a fish-market porter and a charlady. He left school at 15 and took a series of working-class jobs before joining the British army and serving in Korea during the Korean War, where he saw combat. Upon his return to England he gravitated toward the theater and got a job as an assistant stage manager. He adopted the name of Caine on the advice of his agent, taking it from a marquee that advertised The Caine Mutiny (1954). In the years that followed he worked in more than 100 television dramas, with repertory companies throughout England and eventually in the stage hit, "The Long and the Short and the Tall." Zulu (1964), the 1964 epic retelling of a historic 19th-century battle in South Africa between British soldiers and Zulu warriors, brought Caine to international attention. Instead of being typecast as a low-ranking Cockney soldier, he played a snobbish, aristocratic officer. Although "Zulu" was a major success, it was the role of Harry Palmer in The Ipcress File (1965) and the title role in Alfie (1966) that made Caine a star of the first magnitude.

He epitomized the new breed of actor in mid-'60s England, the working-class bloke with glasses and a down-home accent. However, after initially starring in some excellent films, particularly in the 1960s, including Gambit (1966), Funeral in Berlin (1966), Play Dirty (1969), Battle of Britain (1969), Too Late the Hero (1970), The Last Valley (1971) and especially Get Carter (1971), he seemed to take on roles in below-average films, simply for the money he could by then command. There were some gems amongst the dross, however. He gave a magnificent performance opposite Sean Connery in The Man Who Would Be King (1975) and turned in a solid one as a German colonel in The Eagle Has Landed (1976). Educating Rita (1983) and Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) (for which he won his first Oscar) were highlights of the 1980s, while more recently Little Voice (1998), The Cider House Rules (1999) (his second Oscar) and Last Orders (2001) have been widely acclaimed.

Kim Kardashian Ring

The impossible has occurred: Kim Kardashian was outshined on the red carpet! The culprit was not another celeb, but the 22-carat diamond engagement ring on her finger — or as she jokingly referred to it, the “nice little cocktail ring.” The starlet attended The Ultimate Engagement Ring Search for The World’s Best Couple launch at Brasserie Ruhlmann in NYC on Monday and modeled the grand prize. Though the recently single Kim said she’s “down for some hook-ups,”the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star still seems as in love with love as ever. Kim even referred to herself as a “hopeless romantic,” making her the perfect fit to show off the ring before awarding it to the winning couple.
