Kate Gosselin 2011

Kate Gosselin could only make it on her own for so long. The current season of Kate Plus 8, which premiered last week, will be its last, TLC announced Monday. "TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8," a network rep said in a statement. "By the end of this season Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8); an exceptional milestone. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future." 'We've had a great run!" Gosselin wrote in the first of a succession of many tweets. "Six years of whirlwind funfilled adventures thanks to TLC and our many many supportive & diehard fans! "While it is very sad for me and the kids (there were many tears at the breakfast table this morning!) we are looking forward with great anticipation to our bright future! As is very typical for me, I am choosing to see the positive in this situation and I am excited to consider the many more invigorating opportunities that may come my way!I poured my entire self in2 last 6 yrs of 'Kate+8'...I poured my entire self in2 the last6years of 'Kate Plus 8' & I can't wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavors!

It was Discovery Health that first introduced the world to the Gosselins in 2007 with the special Surviving Sextuplets and Twins before the network that once so proudly billed itself as The Learning Channel took over with Jon & Kate Plus 8 in 2008. Jon Gosselin, wife Kate and their big ole brood were a major hit for TLC, even more so once Jon became the subject of cheating rumors and they went through a very public separation and subsequent divorce. Once Pennsylvania's Department of Labor & Industry had granted the kids their proper pint-size permits, Kate continued to get her reality-TV groove on once Jon had been relegated to normal-person work, scoring family trips to New York City, Australia and Alaska, where they hung out with Sarah Palin.

Tara Reid Biography and Photos

Date of Birth: 8 November 1975, Wyckoff, New Jersey, USA
Birth Name: Tara D. Reid
Height: 5' 5" (1.65 m)

Mini Biography
Born in Wyckoff, New Jersey, USA on November 8, 1975. She got her career start at six, when she appeared on a children's game show called "Child's Play" (1982). Later, she appeared in commercials for Jell-O, McDonald's, and Crayola. She attended the Professional Children's School in New York City. Her classmates included Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry O'Connell, Macaulay Culkin, and Ben Taylor. After several career moves, she became known after her role as Bunny, in The Big Lebowski (1998). Tara Reid suffered from a brief bout of anorexia nervosa following her upsetting and traumatic breakup with MTV DJ Carson Daly (they had been engaged). This coincided with the filming of American Pie 2 (2001), which is why Ms. Reid appeared gaunt in several scenes (primarily those that were reshoots), as well as at the premiere of the film. Her illness ended in late 2001, when she began filming National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002).

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa Tattoos

Amber Rose got a new tattoo last week. On the side of her finger, she had the word “Cam” inked in cursive. What does that mean? Well, for the past year, she has been dating rapper Wiz Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz. Apparently, Amber calls him “Cam” for short, while he calls her “Amb.” Amber’s new tattoo will match the one Wiz got tattooed on the side of his thumb earlier this year. Now, I’m a little skeptical of getting someone’s name or initials tattooed on you. I once had a friend get steaming, piping mad at me when I suggested that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to get her boyfriend’s name tattooed on her side. A year, a breakup, and two tattoo removal sessions later, she admitted that I was right. But Amber says she has no regrets. “I want his name tatted on me a million times,” she tweeted. “He’s a dream come true… He’s my Angel.” What do you think of name tattoos? Are they a wonderful way to show your love or terrible idea, because you never know what will happen? Are they more acceptable if you’re marrying someone? Or better if it’s not the person’s full name, but more something that reminds you of them?

Mike Comrie Impregnates Hilary Duff

A baby's on the way for Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie. The actress announced she's pregnant on her official website Sunday. In a special first anniversary post, Duff, 23, wrote how she can't believe how fast time has flown by with Comrie, who plays ice hockey for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and added the happy news. “We also want to share the exciting news that… BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives," she wrote. News of her pregnancy comes as a surprise, considering she recently told Access Hollywood that she feels she's too young to have kids just yet. “We talk about it. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I think I want to work a little more. I’m tossing around the idea of making another record… We want it, and we’re excited for it but think it can wait a while longer… He is supportive of me. We both are excited to do that, but he knows I’m still young," she said. Duff, who got her start on the Disney Channel's "Lizze McGuire" series, married Comrie on August 14, 2010. And since Hilary is happy, mom Susan Duff must be just as over-the-moon excited as she said! after her daughter’s 2010 nuptials, “As a mother, this wedding fulfilled my every dream and expectation from my daughter, I wish for them the endless joy that both of my children have given me.”

Scotty McCreery

Scotty McCreery will release his much-anticipated debut album, Clear As Day, on Oct. 4. He released the news exclusively to fans via email on Thursday and it was announced nationwide earlier today on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” where he performed. He is featured on the American Idols Live! Tour that runs through September and stops in Atlantic City, N.J., on Saturday, Aug. 13. “We’ve been working hard on this album not only in Nashville, but in studios across the country because I’ve been on the Idol tour,” he says. “We’re putting what I believe are the best songs we could find on it and I really hope everyone likes it. The whole experience has been amazing! I love working with my album producer, Mark Bright, and have gotten to work with some of the best musicians in Nashville!”

The new album is a collection of songs in the same straight-ahead country style that captured the nation’s hearts – and votes—on the show. It’s the next step in a promising career that is already breaking records. “It has some old country influences and elements, but it also has a contemporary feel with fun up-tempo songs,” Scotty says. “It’s a good mixture. You can hear some of the influences that I grew up with, like Hank Williams, Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard, but it still has a contemporary twist and feel that keeps it up to date.”

“I chose these songs because they mean a lot to me, but I think everybody can relate to these kinds of songs,” Scotty says. “Clear As Day just sounded like a great album title, but it’s also one of my favorite songs on the album, and I love the message behind the song which was written by Casey Beatherd, Phil O’Donnell and Adam Wheeler.”
