Carla Gugino Biography Sin city Watchmen Hot Entourage Akerman Husband Children Nude Relationships.

Carla Gugino Biography Fashionshow video Current News Profile Boy Friend Husband Children Nude Relationships Imdb Family Pictures Wallpaper Online Video.

Date of Birth : 29 August 1971, Sarasota, Florida, USA
Birth Name : Carla N. Gugino
Height : 5' 5" (1.65 m)

Equally dazzling on both big and small screens, actress Carla Gugino was a true beauty with a talent that transcended any medium. A petite, brunette actress of Italian, Irish, and English descent, Gugino amassed an impressive list of credits over a relatively short period of time. In addition to co-starring in several high-profile features,

Gugino segued back and forth into primetime with leading roles on various hit television series. She received the most buzz of her career, however, when in 2007, Gugino joined the envied cast of the critically acclaimed dramedy, "Entourage" (HBO, 2004- ), starring as Jeremy Piven's new nemesis, super-agent Amanda Daniels.

Born on Aug. 29, 1971 in Sarasota, FL, Gugino moved to California at the age of four after her parents divorced. Raised by a free-spirited mother, Gugino had a most unconventional childhood.

Frequently on the move, Gugino and her mother lived for a period of time inside a teepee outside Paradise, CA and later, in a van in Big Sur.

"I was bathed in the river and jumped off of rocks, ran in the hills and was very much a tomboy," the actress recalled. "My mom used to make oatmeal on a propane stove. It was an amazing time." Splitting her summers with her father in Florida, Gugino adapted to her lack of stable domesticity remarkably well.

A straight-A student throughout high school, Gugino even graduated as her senior class valedictorian. Gugino also had beauty to match the brains. Discovered by a modeling agent in the mid-1980s, Gugino was whisked away to New York at the age of 15.

Ultimately deemed too short for the catwalk, however, the 5'4" Gugino watched her modeling career stall relatively quickly. Overwhelmed and disappointed, Gugino moved back to California that summer. It was there, that - partly at the suggestion of her aunt, actress Carol Merrill - Gugino began to take acting classes.

Gugino's screen career took off almost immediately. Starting with a 1988 guest-spot on "Who's The Boss?" (ABC, 1984-1992), Gugino continued to work steadily. In 1989, she landed her first major break, landing a recurring role on the popular nighttime drama "Falcon Crest" (CBS, 1981-1990). More guest-starring roles would follow in subsequent years on such popular hits as "Doogie Howser, M.D." (ABC, 1989-1993), "The Wonder Years" (ABC, 1988-1993) and "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1989-1993).

In 1996, Gugino landed one of her earliest high-profile roles as sexy reporter Ashley Schaeffer - the love interest of Deputy Mayor Mike Flaherty (Michael J. Fox) - in the first 12 episodes of "Spin City" (ABC, 1996-2002). Halfway through its maiden season, however, Gugino's character was written out, for reasons unclear. (Gossipmongers, however, suggested that Gugino's dismissal may have been due to pressure from Fox's real-life wife, actress Tracey Pollan, who was reportedly jealous of Gugino and Fox's on-screen chemistry).

At the same time that Gugino's face was becoming known in television, her film career was simultaneously maturing. In 1993, Gugino co-starred in the inane comedy "Son-in-Law," starring Pauly Shore. A supporting role in 1995's comedy "Miami Rhapsody" followed. In 1998, Gugino landed a meaty role opposite Nicolas Cage in the overblown action-thriller "Snake Eyes" (1998). None of these roles, however, met with much critical notice. With the new millennium, however, Gugino began to have better luck picking her roles. In 2001, director Robert Rodriguez cast Gugino as spy mom Ingrid Cortez - Antonio Banderas' better half - in "Spy Kids," the first of the highly profitable "Spy Kids" movie trilogy. Made on a relatively modest budget of $35 million, "Spy Kids" went on to become a $200 million international juggernaut and spawned two sequels, "Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams" (2002) and "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" (2003). Determined to be taken seriously as a film actress, Gugino turned down the chance to play Vin Diesel's love interest in the hit comedy, "The Pacifier" (2005), in order to take a small but memorable role as Lucille, a lesbian parole officer, in Robert Rodriguez's "Sin City" (2005), a filmic adaptation of writer-artist Frank Miller's graphic novel series. An ultra-violent, neo-noir extravaganza, "Sin City" was an unholy hit, grossing nearly $160 million worldwide.

In 2003, Gugino returned to television to star in the short-lived crime drama, "Karen Sisco" (ABC, 2003-04). Based on a creation by legendary crime novelist, Elmore Leonard, the title role of Karen Sisco was originally portrayed by Jennifer Lopez in another Leonard adaptation, the tightly crafted Stephen Soderbergh crime caper, "Out of Sight" (1998). Despite strong reviews, however, "Karen Sisco" was yanked after just 10 episodes. Coming back in 2005, Gugino starred in the short-lived sci-fi drama, "Threshold" (CBS, 2005-06). After a promising start, "Threshold" began to stumble in the ratings. In an effort to boost sagging ratings, the series was moved from Friday nights to Tuesdays. Unfortunately, the plan backfired and the ratings continued to drop sharply. In November of 2005, CBS finally pulled the plug on "Threshold" with four episodes yet to be aired.

Adding stage work to her many accomplishments, Gugino gilded her resume in late 2006 with a starring role in the off-Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' drama, "Suddenly, Last Summer," opposite Blythe Danner. After the play wrapped, Gugino returned to L.A., where she promptly won a starring role in the Ben Stiller comedy, "Night at the Museum" (2006). The film's financial success, no doubt helped Gugino get her next gig - a juicy role in one of television's hottest comedies, "Entourage." In early 2007, the hip show's creator-producer Doug Ellin announced that Gugino would join the cast for its fourth season. As Amanda, the mysterious new über-agent of Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), Gugino squared off against Vincent's egomaniacal ex-agent, Ari Gold (played by Jeremy Piven), proving herself a sizzling foil with her sharp timing and wit.

Back on the big screen, Gugino played the wife of a tough, savvy cop (Russell Crowe) who has no problem cheating on her, even though he upholds honor and integrity on the streets in "American Gangster" (2007). In "The Lookout" (2007), she delivered a brief, but memorable performance as the therapist to a former jock (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) suffering memory loss after a serious accident who is duped into helping to rob a bank. Gugino next played a crime scene investigator with romantic ties to a New York City detective (Robert De Niro) investigating a serial killer in the forgettable crime thriller "Righteous Kill" (2008). After a small supporting role in the terribly reviewed supernatural thriller "The Unborn" (2009), Gugino co-starred in the first big blockbuster of the year, "Watchmen" (2009), playing Sally Jupiter, a retired superhero and the first to be Silk Spectre.

Actress Melissa McCarthy brought a sugar-buzz sweetness to her turns as likable if occasionally over-excitable young women on series like "Gilmore Girls" (The WB/The CW, 2001-07), "Samantha Who?" (ABC, 2007-09) and "Mike and Molly" (CBS, 2010- ).

A veteran stand-up and improvisational comic, she burst onto the scene as Sookie St. James, best friend to Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) on "Gilmore," and played variants of the role in subsequent series and feature films like "The Back-Up Plan" (2010) and "Life as We Know It" (2010).

Her starring turn on "Molly" as a an overweight teacher who finds herself in a relationship with a similarly rotund policeman (Billy Gardell) was a fine showcase for her talents, and signaled the launch of her career as leading lady. Meanwhile, she continued to shine in a number of high-profile supporting roles, particularly in the hit female-driven comedy from Judd Apatow, "Bridesmaids" (2011), in which she displayed her exceptional gifts for physical comedy and demonstrated that when it came to scene-stealing, she had few comedic peers.

Born Aug. 26, 1970, in Plainfield, IL, Melissa McCarthy's cousin was Playmate-turned-actress and author Jenny McCarthy, who provide her with her first screen credit in an episode of her short-lived sketch comedy series, "The Jenny McCarthy Show" (MTV, 1997).

After graduating from Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, IL, she lit out for New York City, where she made a name for herself on the stand-up comedy circuit. While pursuing this career, she also studied dramatic acting at The Actors Studio, and made regular appearances in theater productions.

McCarthy eventually moved to Los Angeles, where she kept a hand in comedy by performing with the famous Groundlings troupe, while pursuing roles in films and television. A memorable performance as a young woman who enjoyed a gossipy phone relationship with the Lord in John August's film short "God" (1998) led to a supporting role in his indie drama "Go" (1999) which, amusingly enough, also featured her in a phone conversation.

The following year, McCarthy landed her breakthrough role as Sookie on "Gilmore Girls." In the show's original pilot, the role was played by comedian Alex Borstein of "Family Guy" (Fox, 1999-2002; 2005- ), but scheduling conflicts forced her to abandon the role, which lead to McCarthy's casting. As Sookie, McCarthy was able to flex both sides of her acting talent; though Sookie was scatterbrained and occasionally over-excited, she also served as a grounding force for Lauren Graham's Lorelei, especially in regard to her various romantic entanglements. Sookie also provided a healthy role model of the joys of a nuclear family through her relationship with Jackson (Jackson Douglas), her produce provider, whom she would later marry and have children with.

The exposure afforded by the popularity of "Gilmore Girls" led to a string of showy bit parts in major features like "Charlie's Angels" (2000), as well as more substantive roles in indies like "Pumpkin" (2002) and "The Third Wheel" (2002). In the former, she trod a fine line between heartbreak and humor as a bright but lovelorn young woman who is set up on a date with a mentally handicapped man (Hank Harris) by the shallow sorority girl (Christina Ricci) who mentored him, while in the latter, she charmed viewers as Ben Affleck's co-worker, who joined him in monitoring a disastrous date between Luke Wilson and Denise Richards. McCarthy's ebullient voice was also featured in several episodes of the animated series "Kim Possible" (Disney Channel, 2002-07) as DNAmy, a scientist and dedicated collected of stuffed animals who becomes obsessed with genetically altering real creatures to make them "cuter."

When "Gilmore Girls" left the air in 2007, McCarthy segued into another series, the light-hearted comedy "Samantha Who?" (ABC, 2007-09), with Christina Applegate as a woman who, after recovering from a coma, realizes that she has led a selfish life prior to the accident. The show revolved around her attempts to make things right with her family and friends, including her needy pal Dena (McCarthy).

Though a ratings hit in its first season, the network rescheduled the show to various time slots, which made it difficult for viewers to follow the program, and in turn, resulted in its cancellation. While working on "Samantha," McCarthy earned her biggest role to date in John August's "The Nines" (2007), an indie feature that explored the nature of God and alternate realities in pursuit of attaining the best of all possible worlds. She played three roles in the film: a public relations agent handling a trouble actor (Ryan Reynolds); a variation on herself as an actress who found herself replaced as the star of a series by a younger, more attractive performer; and the wife of a video game designer (also Reynolds). The film, shot on video and film, was seen by a limited audience but received glowing reviews.

McCarthy soon returned to steady work as a supporting player, albeit now in major releases like the Jennifer Lopez vehicle "The Back-Up Plan" (2010) and "Life As We Know It" (2010), a lightweight comedy with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. That same year, she finally received a starring vehicle on TV via "Mike and Molly." The sitcom, from producer Chuck Lorre, featured McCarthy as a grade school teacher who meets Billy Gardell's policeman at an Overeaters Anonymous gathering and begins a tentative relationship with him.

Though McCarthy and Gardell were praised for their effortlessly charming performances, the show was criticized for its dependence on "fat" jokes for its humor. Regardless, the casting of two actors who possessed figures more akin to the American norm versus a size zero, came as a refreshing change for audiences. Back on the big screen, McCarthy nearly stole the show from star Kristin Wiig in the rare female-driven, R-rated comedy, "Bridesmaids" (2011), in which she used her atypical size to great comedic affect, particularly in a scene where she wrestled Wiig. Almost immediately following the success of "Bridesmaids," McCarthy earned more good news when she received an Emmy Award nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her efforts on "Mike & Molly."

Date of Birth : 26 September 1981, Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
Birth Name : Christine Flores
Height : 5' 2" (1.57 m)
Spouse : The Dream     (4 September 2009 - present) (separated) 1 child

Multi-talented singer-actress Christina Milian first won the admiration of teenage fans when she starred opposite Nick Cannon in the feature film “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” (2003).

Two years later, in the disappointing sequel to “Get Shorty” (1995), she portrayed a character close to herself, singer Linda Moon, in “Be Cool,” holding her own alongside Hollywood heavyweights John Travolta,

Uma Thurman and Vince Vaughn No matter what project the Grammy-nominated singer took on, she wowed audiences with her undeniable onscreen presence, as well as her impressive pipes on both record and before live audiences. Milian could, literally, do it all.

Milian was born Christine Flores on Sept. 26, 1981 in Jersey City, NJ to Cuban immigrants Don and Carmen Flores.

The oldest of three daughters, Milian’s family moved to Maryland shortly after her birth. After figuring out early on that acting was in her blood, the young girl began landing commercials for Wendy’s Hamburgers and Honeycombs cereal, as well as the lead role in a stage production of “Annie.”

No small feat, considering that she lived in Maryland – a long way from the entertainment industry. The budding actress soon exhausted all of the opportunities Maryland could offer, so Carmen Flores, realizing her daughter’s potential, moved to Los Angeles with her three daughters when Milian was only 13 years old. Milian’s father stayed behind in Maryland. Moving to Los Angeles ended up making the singer’s dreams come true, but they came at a price. The distance proved to be too great a strain on her parent’s marriage and they soon divorced.

After only a few years struggling to make inroads in Hollywood, in 1998, Milian lent her considerable vocal talents to a small role in the animated feature “A Bug’s Life.” The following year, the attractive actress landed another small part, playing the unlikely role of a band geek in the hit teenage gross-out feature film franchise, “American Pie” (1999). As any struggling actress, she continued adding small roles to her resume, guest appearing on television sitcoms like “Charmed” (WB 1998-2006), “Clueless” (UPN 1996-99), and “The Steve Harvey Show” (WB 1996-2002).

Her first pivotal role arrived courtesy of MTV, when, in 2001, they hired her as the host of the little known series “Wannabe.” (MTV, 2001- ). The role was significant simply because it led to a meeting with director Joseph Kahn who invited Milian to audition for his slick, high octane, motorcycle flick, “Torque” (2004). The audition was a success and she landed the role of girlfriend to of one of the bikers. Though the film was not a huge success, it led to more and more film roles.

In 2003, Milian snared one of her most recognizable roles – starring as a popular cheerleader hired by the class geek (Nick Cannon) to turn him into a heartthrob in “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.” The feature film was a remake of the 1987 hit “Can’t Buy Me Love” starring a young Patrick Dempsey in the role of the class loser. The film put Milian one step closer to the stardom she craved. For the film, she not only gained major media exposure, but won a multitude of young fans and three Teen Choice Award Nominations. She also temporarily won the heart of co-star Nick Cannon. The up-and-coming young couple dated for more than two years until parting ways amidst rumors of Cannon’s penchant for philandering.

Continuing with her feature film career, Milian starred in the comedy, “Man of the House” (2005). After playing one of several underdressed and overexposed University of Texas cheerleaders being protected by grumpy Texas Ranger (Tommy Lee Jones) after they witness a murder, the editors of Maxim magazine had obviously taken notice of Milian’s physical gifts. In 2006, they named the starlet #10 on their highly touted “Hot 100” list.

Adding a unique edge to Milian’s marketability was the fact that this actress could really sing. In 2000 she supplied rapper Ja Rule with guest vocals on his hit single “Between Me and You.” She next co-wrote and sang extensive back-up for Jennifer Lopez’s 2001 hit, “Play,” featured on Lopez’s album J. Lo. In 2001 she released her debut self-titled solo album Christina Milian. She followed up with It’s about Time in 2004, garnering her a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album. In 2006 she came out in support of pal Jessica Simpson by performing on roller skates in Simpson’s music video, “A Public Affair” along with Eva Longoria and Christina Applegate. That same year she released her third album So Amazin, featuring the catchy single, “Say I.” Despite her obvious talent and a Grammy nomination, all three albums were only moderately successful. It was alleged that due to weak album sales, Milian left the Island Def Jam record label after the release of her third album in 2006.

Going back to her first love, Milian returned to the big screen in the teenage horror flick “Pulse” (2006) – a teen horror flick about a group of college students being terrorized by evil spirits living in computers. The film also starred Kristen Belle of “Veronica Mars” (WB 2004- ) fame and was penned by horror legend Wes Craven.

Larry Flynt Biography Girl Friend.

Larry Flynt Biography Fashionshow video Current News Profile Girl Friend wife Children Nude Relationships Imdb Family Pictures Wallpaper Online Video.

Date of Birth : 1 November 1942, Salyersville, Kentucky, USA
Birth Name : Larry Claxton Flynt Jr.

Mini Biography :
Born on November 1, 1942, Larry Flynt was raised in Lakeville, a small isolated community in the hills of Magoffin County in eastern Kentucky. He had a sister named Judy who died in 1951 from leukemia at age five, and a brother, Jimmy, born in 1948. His parents separated when he was ten, and he moved with his mother and brother to Hamlet, Indiana.

Flynt ran away from home at age 16 in 1958 and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Discharged a year later, he took odd jobs as a farm picker, dishwasher and manual laborer. Moving on to Dayton, Ohio, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1960 and worked as a radar operator on the USS Enterprise until October 1962. After his discharge in 1964, he was married for a time while trying to open his own bar in Dayton, selling his own moonshine whiskey; he also opened another bar that same year. His next experiment in strip clubs proved more of a success, in particular the Hustler Club which opened in 1968.

By 1971, Flynt owned a statewide string of Hustler strip clubs, in Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Cincinnati and Akron. During that period he had affairs with three strippers, resulting in a child by each of them. By 1973 he owned eight Hustler clubs with annual incomes between $75,000 and $100,000 each. Wanting to expand his empire, he decided to publish his own girlie magazine, "Hustler", named after his clubs. The first issue came out in July 1974 and was instantly a hit, owing to its detailed pornographic descriptions of women. After a few months, however, sales dipped to a low point, resulting in bankruptcy by 1975, although candid photographs of a nude Jacqueline Kennedy--at that time Jackie Kennedy Onassis--published in August 1975 put Hustler back in the national spotlight.

Flynt's controversial and unconventional ways earned him both respect and hatred from various individuals and organizations, including many feminists who found the articles in Hustler misogynist, offensive and demeaning. He continued having illicit affairs with various women, including a model named Althea Leasure (1953-1987), who he married in August 1976. Charged in February of 1977 with obscenity and organized crime ties, he was taken to court in Cincinnati where he was convicted of all charges, although the verdict was later overturned on appeal due to allegations of prosecutable misconduct and judicial and jury bias.

Flynt's legal hassles brought him to the attention of Ruth Carter, sister of President Jimmy Carter, who inspired him to make a career turn. Becoming a born-again Christian, Flynt soon included religion in his Hustler issues, which infuriated Christian and religious fundamentalist groups. He abandoned his faith in March 1978 when he was shot by a sniper outside a courthouse in Lawrenceville, Georgia, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. With daily death threats against him, and the police both unwilling and unable to protect him, Flynt moved his publishing company from Ohio to Los Angeles at the end of 1978, living in a huge mansion in Bel Air with Althea. Wracked by constant back pain from internal injuries as a result of the gunshot wounds, and confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, he lived almost as a recluse, seldom venturing outside his house unless accompanied by several burly, armed-to-the-teeth bodyguards.

Addicted to painkillers, Flynt took Valium, Percodan, Percocette, Librium, Demerol, morphine and Dialdud pills and injections on a daily basis. In 1980, Flynt suffered a near-fatal stroke caused by one of several overdoses of his analgesic medications; he recovered but has had speech pronunciation difficulties since. In 1983, he underwent the first of a series of DREZ laser surgeries on his back to repair the damage to the nerve center around his bullet wounds (the second was in 1987, the third in 1994), which slowly cured him of his back pain and his painkiller addiction.

Flynt continued his practice of bringing lawsuits against various parties, one of which, in November 1983, involved his ownership of a videotape showing the real nature of the arrest and entrapment of car entrepreneur John DeLorean for drug trafficking. Flynt then (and to this day) refused to disclose how he came to acquire the videotape and was sentenced to 15 months in a mental hospital for contempt of court. During his stay in the hospital, he was clinically diagnosed with the mental bipolar disorder which is responsible for his unpredictable verbal outbursts and fits of rage in which he remains on medication to this day. That same month, Huster magazine published an article lampooning Christian fundamentalist Jerry Falwell, a longtime opponent of Flynt's polices; the article portrayed Falwell as a drunkard who had committed incest. Flynt was flown to Virginia in December 1984 after Falwell filed a $45-million civil suit against him. After a week-long trial, a jury ruled that Flynt was not liable for the article, but published it deliberately to cause emotional distress, and awarded Falwell $200,000. Flynt took his appeal against the verdict all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in December 1987, and the verdict was overturned two months later.

Flynt's marriage to Althea deteriorated when she was diagnosed with AIDS in 1983, aggravated by her drug addiction. She died in June 1987 at age 33 from drowning in her bathtub following a heroin overdose. Flynt continues running his publishing company, Flynt Publications, in Los Angeles, and to this day is both hated and admired by many.
